Ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Palestinians (represented by both Hamas and Mahmoud Abbas) struggle to take hold. We discuss the gap between the two camps as the human toll continues to skyrocket, and the political landscape and possibility for peace. Is Hamas going to demilitarize? Are relations between Israel and its regional partners beyond repair? The obstructions to peace between Israel and Palestinians, the diplomatic hurdle of “terrorism,” and the possibilities for peace moving forward are explored with Bloomberg News journalist Calev Ben-David direct from Jerusalem, in this Lip News interview hosted by Elliot Hill.
